Apply for a WestJet Cargo account

Terms and conditions:

  • Credit term accounts to meet all WestJet Cargo account criteria as noted below
  • An annual review of all WestJet Cargo accounts is completed for the previous calendar year's activity to determine your account complies with WestJet Cargo’s terms and conditions
  • Should the revenue not meet our minimum requirements or no activity on your account for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months, the account may be cancelled without notice
  • The credit application is to be submitted via email to: cargosales@westjet.com. A WestJet Cargo Representative will contact you within 7 business days
  • WestJet Cargo reserves the right to change any terms and conditions without notice
  • USA Accounts: TSA Regulations have a mandatory requirement that all credit applications from the United States must provide their TSA registration number or complete a KSMS application form to apply to the TSA to register their company. Accounts will be opened only to those companies who are registered with the TSA.
  • Termination or refusal: WestJet Cargo and its affiliates have the right to refuse or terminate forthwith any credit account or this agreement, at any time, for any or no reason, without notice

Eligibility:

  • Must be a registered business and provide your Business GST/HST number at time of application
  • Accounts must reach a total revenue of CAD3,000 or more in annual sales with WestJet Cargo in the same year (freight and surcharges included)
  • The credit amount will be determined upon review of the credit application and same to be advised at time of account approval
  • All applicants must reside and carry out business in Canada or the USA
  • CASS/IATA members are exempt from this review

Payment terms:

  • Invoices are sent weekly, and payment is due in full within 30 days from invoice date. Delinquent accounts will be put on hold and may incur an administration fee and/or interest.

  • Interest Payable: An interest rate of 18% per annum (1.5% monthly) will be assessed on all overdue accounts

Discrepancies: Any discrepancy in billing must be reported within 30 days of receipt of invoice by contacting WestJet Cargo’s accounting office at:
