WestJet has begun restoring its schedule following a tentative agreement with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE), representing WestJet Cabin Crew. Some flights may continue to be affected as operations recover. Our Network, Operations and Customer Service teams are making all necessary arrangements and notifications.

End to End Security

Only freight forwarders who hold a WestJet Cargo account can create a booking. If you don't have an account yet, details are available on the Apply for an Account page. 

Once your account is set up, an assigned sales representative will assist you in creating a booking.

    Acceptance

    • Short cut off time
    • Acceptance under CCTV secured area
    • Acceptance done under security supervision
    • WS Cargo uses valuable containers and seals to secure the shipment

  • Step 3

    Departure

    • Direct delivery to aircraft under security escort
    • Last cargo to be loaded
    • Security to remain until push back of aircraft

  • Step 4

    Arrival

    • Security escort to arrive prior to aircraft arrival
    • First shipment to be offloaded under security supervision

  • Step 5

    Delivery

    • Delivery at destination to authorized consignee under security presence
